Adams Cable Service upgrades to 400G and cuts rollout by nearly 8 months with IP Infusion

Adams Cable Service, a Pennsylvania-based network services company, needed to scale its network capacity beyond its existing capabilities. The company faced challenges with excessive hardware lead times, inflated equipment costs, and convoluted licensing models from traditional vendors. To overcome these obstacles and avoid vendor lock-in, Adams Cable selected IP Infusion's OcNOS Access and Aggregation Routing Software.

IP Infusion provided a solution using OcNOS on open networking hardware from UfiSpace and Celestica, paired with Precision OT 400G ZR+ optics, which was integrated by RocNet Supply. This deployment accelerated the project by nearly eight months. The results included achieving 400G and beyond in production with headroom for future scale, a significantly lower total cost, and the ability to pass those savings on to end users.
