A IP Fabric Case Study
Major League Baseball was challenged by the complex, large-scale management of its multi-vendor network infrastructure. The network team struggled to efficiently collect and normalize accurate data on the network state, a process that was consuming time better spent on delivering business value. This lack of a single source of truth also meant other technical operations teams were often dependent on the network team for information, creating bottlenecks.
IP Fabric implemented its Network Assurance platform to automatically crawl, parse, and normalize network data into a centralized database. This solution provided MLB’s engineers with advanced operational insights and an intuitive GUI, democratizing access to network information for other teams. As a result, network automation projects were accelerated, engineers saved significant time, and adjacent infrastructure teams became self-sufficient, no longer having to wait for support.
