Mobile Measures, a healthcare app created by physical therapist Ben Kenuk, was born from the challenge of making outcome measures easier to track, calculate, and interpret in everyday practice. Kenuk needed a mobile solution to consolidate different assessment tools, save therapists time, and improve understanding of results, but he didn’t have mobile development experience, so he partnered with Ionic Trusted Partner OpenForge.

OpenForge recommended and used the Ionic Framework to build a cross-platform app for iOS and Android from a single codebase, with Strapi powering content updates. The solution simplified UI development, reduced maintenance and QA effort, and helped Mobile Measures cut development costs by about 63%. The app launched successfully, gained more than 1,300 downloads in 20 countries, earned a 4.83 average rating, and saw strong early subscription growth with no user-reported errors.
