Large US Propane Distributor Company, one of the largest U.S. retail propane distributors serving 1.7M customers from 1,900 locations across 50 states, faced growing risk from supply-chain and market disruptions that could cause price spikes, shortages, and profit volatility. To improve visibility and decision-making around trading, shipping, and physical positions, the customer engaged ION Aspect to deploy ION commodity trading and supply chain planning solutions, including RightAngle (CMS) and WAM for supply-chain optimization.
