Bosch, a global technology leader with around 400,000 employees and over €71 billion in 2020 sales, needed to centralize and automate complex international payments, cash management and reconciliation across hundreds of entities to reduce costs, errors and manual work. To meet this challenge Bosch implemented ION Treasury’s ITS.

ION delivered ITS as a centralized treasury and payment-factory platform providing automated cash management, reconciliation, payment processing, and multilateral netting. The ITS payment factory now automatically processes 1.5 million payments a year from about 100 entities, supports cross‑currency netting for ~260 participants across 25 country centers, integrates ~650 users worldwide, and has enabled leaner bank portfolios, lower transaction costs through netting, faster processing and fewer errors since Bosch began working with ION in 2004.
