Rapid expansion drives full suite of technology solutions at Goshawk

Goshawk Aviation Limited, an aircraft leasing company, faced the significant challenge of building its own internal technology platform to support its rapid global expansion. With a small team and an ambitious timeline, they needed to source and implement a suite of integrated systems for treasury, accounting, banking, and contract management to replace their previous reliance on a parent company's infrastructure. This had to be accomplished while continuing their day-to-day operations and meeting all client and financing obligations.

The solution, supported by vendor ION Treasury and Citi, integrated several systems to create a streamlined and automated financial infrastructure. Key components included host-to-host banking connections for real-time cash visibility, an interface between Bloomberg and the ION Treasury TMS for automated rate feeds, and a direct integration between their lease management system and accounting software. This new platform provided the scalability and flexibility required, enabling Goshawk to efficiently manage over $45 million in monthly cash flows and successfully secure substantial new financing.
