The National Forest Foundation, the official nonprofit partner of the USDA Forest Service, needed to educate the public and corporate partners about the national forest system while working with limited time and budget. Faced with the usual nonprofit challenge that videos and visual content can feel like risky, one-off investments, the team set out to create an evergreen asset that would serve multiple audiences and extend existing campaigns.
They partnered with Visually (Rock Content) to produce a one-minute animated video that repurposed existing infographics and was optimized for emails, pitches, social, and the homepage. The video became a long-lived staple across channels and campaigns, earning about 27,000 views, ongoing shares from corporate partners, and consistent value as low-cost, high-impact content.
