Maggiano’s Little Italy, a Brinker-owned restaurant chain with 44 U.S. locations and one international site, partnered with Ruffino to launch a private-label wine, Ruffino Salute Amico. Reap Marketing was tasked with using Maggiano’s email database to drive customers into restaurants to try the new offering.
Reap created an ion landing page linked from an email offering a complimentary flatbread with the purchase of a glass; the page converted at 73% initially (vs. a 2–4% industry average) and was still converting at 65% a month later after being promoted on Maggiano’s homepage. The strong results led Maggiano’s to continue using highly optimized landing pages for future promotions and private bookings.
