Raycom expands audience engagement with Rock Content Engage

Raycom Media, which owns or services more than 60 TV stations and other media properties across 44 markets, needed to boost locally relevant content and audience engagement—highlighted by KLTV in Tyler, TX. A lean digital team was managing multiple apps and dozens of social accounts and needed better ways to grow followers, moderate user-generated content, and push/pull content across web, mobile and OTT channels without adding headcount.

Raycom adopted Rock Content Engage to aggregate social posts and producer-curated content into live, moderated feeds and publish them through its CMS across sites, apps and OTT. The platform streamlined workflows for 18 hours of daily live content, was rolled out to 40 stations, and delivered measurable gains: increased engagement and followers, more traffic back to site and talent platforms (including 62,000 pageviews during Hurricane Harvey), and cost savings by automating tasks.
