FedEx’s Small Business Center needed to replace a text-heavy, hard-to-navigate resource hub with a better way to educate small-business customers about freight shipping, classification, and international logistics. To solve this, FedEx worked with Ion Interactive to turn static pages and an aging Freight Central site into engaging interactive tools.
Ion Interactive helped FedEx build six interactive experiences, including Freight 101, an LTL Freight Classification Tool, and Customs Compliance Made Easy. The results were strong: the Freight Box tool became the third most-trafficked page on the site, drove 136,000 visits, increased Freight Box shipments by 151%, and delivered an 82% average month-over-month revenue increase.
