English Football League - Customer Case Study

Rock Content (formerly ScribbleLive) partnered with the English Football League to pilot “The Wall,” a club-centric hub across 12 Premier League and Championship clubs aimed at transforming the online fan experience. The challenge was to unite disparate club content, deliver more frequent updates, reach a larger audience, and increase time spent on club sites.

After a one-day training, clubs used Rock Content’s social curation and mobile publishing tools—auto-feeding posts by hashtag, simplifying social monitoring on match days, and enabling quick video uploads from the sidelines. In a three-month trial average time on page rose from 1:20 to 3:42 (2.5x), fans began returning multiple times per week, the 12 clubs became ambassadors for rollout to 90 sites, and additional Walls (including West Brom’s international Wall and the EFL Wall) were launched.
