Beauty Trailblazer, Sephora, Streamlines Their Moves With iOffice

Sephora, the global beauty retailer, faced a workplace logistics challenge: Edgar Sanchez, Manager of Corporate Facilities, was responsible for 10 floors across two buildings, 1,500 people and over 300,000 sq. ft., with constant moves among 40 departments. Relying on AutoCAD, Big Sky, Word and Excel made planning difficult—especially ahead of a planned 400-person move in November 2015—because existing tools were cumbersome, retail-focused, and didn’t support predictive scenario planning.

Sephora adopted iOffice’s Space Management module for its clean, flexible interface, which enabled online floor-plan visualization, rapid move creation, and CRE reporting. The November 2015 move proceeded smoothly, planning time dropped from two–three months to one week, and the FM team gained clearer maps, easier move processes and higher productivity; Sephora now plans to add iOffice’s Service Request module and expand reporting for future space and workforce planning.
