UBM, a London‑headquartered multinational media company, was engaged by a leading Asian tourism board and cruise association to grow the Asian cruise market by reaching, educating and certifying travel agents—with a particular focus on the Indian Travel Agents Fraternity. The challenge was to deliver an interactive, secure certification program that worked both during a live event and on‑demand, using polling, live Q&A and gamification to create a true learning community.
Using INXPO’s webinar platform, UBM ran a three‑phase “Oceans of Opportunity” program via its Travel Trends Today webinar channel, adding secure sign‑on and an on‑demand certification widget so agents could earn certification after the live sessions. The campaign drew 1,000+ signups with peak live attendance over 650 (1,791 total live participants), produced 330 certified completions, 950+ on‑demand views, 62% live engagement on polls, strong social recognition on LinkedIn, and overall exceeded the client’s goals.
