Oil Search Limited, an oil and gas exploration and development company established in Papua New Guinea in 1929, needed a way to manage workforce competencies and clearly track and record training activities. To meet this requirement, LogiCamms prepared the functional specification and selected INX Software’s INX InTuition and INX +LMS to provide an internal Training Management System with external LMS access for employees (contract delivered 2012–current).

INX Software’s solution—deployed with procedures, data-entry validation and ongoing support from LogiCamms—enabled Oil Search to record and track training, identify task-specific competencies, and deliver follow-up training and assessment through the Competency Assurance Program. The implementation was delivered on time and on budget, now supports a 1,000–5,000 employee workforce, and demonstrably improves competency tracking, compliance and training management.
