Columbus Stainless, the Acerinox-owned stainless steel mill in Middelburg with about 1,800 employees, needed a commercial workforce management solution to replace a fragmented, spreadsheet-based in‑house system that lacked intelligence, scalability, backup and support. They selected INX Software to improve compliance, reduce risk and increase productivity across health, safety, training and contractor mobilisation.

INX Software implemented INX InControl for health, safety and compliance management and INX InTuition for skills, training and learning management, replacing ad hoc Excel tables with an intelligent “tree structure.” The deployment eliminated duplication of risk and safety information by more than 80%, generated new statistics and standardized high‑level risk assessments and control/training mechanisms, and—with strong training and support from INX Software—improved consistency, reporting and overall compliance.
