AgStar, a cooperative financial services firm founded in 1957 that supports over 20,000 clients and posts net income north of $123 million, relied on a manual, spreadsheet-based process to manage client entertainment (tickets for concerts and sporting events). The system was untracked, underutilized and time-consuming, limiting the company’s ability to deliver and measure client experiences and undermining internal confidence in off-the-shelf software after a problematic CRM customization.
In 2011 AgStar adopted InviteManager across the organization, abandoning the old spreadsheets and automating ticket allocation and tracking. The change improved visibility and saved staff time, gave sales teams access to full seasons rather than limited allocations, and drove utilization from roughly 60% (with some personal use) to about 96–100%, resulting in more client events, stronger relationships and consistent positive feedback.
