Citiz, one of France’s largest carsharing providers, needed a technology foundation that could support its cooperative, multi-city operation across 1,300 vehicles and 500 locations. To serve different mobility needs, Citiz wanted to combine station-based carsharing, free-floating, B2B sharing, and peer-to-peer services in a single app while keeping the system reliable and easy to manage. INVERS provided the shared mobility technology stack, including telematics, backend software, global connectivity, and API capabilities.

With INVERS, Citiz implemented a modular platform with a powerful tariff and billing engine, secure hosting, and an open API for local integrations and custom apps. This enabled Citiz to manage multiple providers and pricing models, integrate with MaaS partners, and offer seamless cross-usage across regions in France. The result was a more flexible, reliable service that supports 40,000 users and helps Citiz expand toward its goal of reaching all French cities with more than 300,000 residents.
