A Invata Intralogisitcs Case Study
Invata Intralogisitcs designed, supplied and installed an 82,000 sq. ft. warehouse storage system for the world’s largest medical devices and supplies manufacturers Company in Panama City to support local fulfillment and LATAM distribution. The customer was constrained by an almost‑full facility and rising LATAM demand, faced a shift from case-in/piece-out to pallet-in/case-out workflows, strict lot-control/FEFO and temperature‑control requirements, and needed seamless integration with its JD Edwards ERP/WMS while minimizing labor where cost‑justifiable.
Invata Intralogisitcs delivered a mixed-storage solution—high-density selective and push‑back flow racking, dynamic storage, order selection and assembly equipment, insulated thermal curtains and a temperature‑controlled zone, plus dock access and safety barriers—tied into the existing ERP/WMS. The installation increased storage and picking/packing capacity, enabled FEFO lot-controlled processing, reduced labor dependency, met regulatory and timeline requirements, and was completed on time; its success led to a follow‑on Invata Intralogisitcs implementation for the same customer in Santiago, Chile.
