The Université catholique de Louvain, a 28,700‑student Belgian research university, needed to deliver applications built for different operating systems to many types of devices while supporting a “work from anywhere” BYOD experience and avoiding large capital expenditure. To meet these requirements the university partnered with Inuvika and evaluated delivery options before selecting Inuvika’s OVD Enterprise platform.

Inuvika implemented OVD Enterprise’s lightweight, shared‑architecture web portal to deliver both Windows and Linux applications via HTML5, centralizing control and making app provisioning immediate rather than taking hours or days. The initial deployment supports 200 concurrent users with plans to scale to thousands over three years, and has improved mobility and device choice, accelerated application delivery, better software‑usage reporting and optimized license management.
