Dunnerholme Golf Club grows its junior section to 70+ players with Intro’s £1,000 grant

The junior section of Dunnerholme Golf Club faced the challenge of maintaining momentum and inclusivity for its young players through the winter months when outdoor play was not possible. The club needed funding for indoor facilities and equipment to keep its thriving program active year-round. Fibrus provided a £1,000 grant from its Play It Forward Fund to address this need.

The solution from Fibrus enabled the club to hire indoor sports facilities and purchase new equipment, including specialized clubs for safe indoor coaching. This allowed weekly sessions to continue uninterrupted, preventing a seasonal drop-off in participation. The results included sustained engagement for over 70 registered juniors, with around 30 attending weekly winter sessions, and the club was able to provide equipment to ensure the sport remained accessible to all children regardless of cost.
