Sun Peaks transforms their virtual communication

Sun Peaks Resort, a four-season destination that hires 600+ seasonal staff each winter, struggled to reach a largely desk-less, mobile workforce and to move onboarding and crisis communications online. To solve this, Sun Peaks partnered with Intranet Connections (using the Source intranet platform, branded Alpine Connect) and became a pilot customer for Intranet Connections’ Reach virtual communications tool to improve engagement, information access, and digital onboarding.

Intranet Connections implemented Reach integrated with Source to sync audiences, send branded mobile-first messages, and support virtual onboarding and COVID-19 crisis updates. The solution kept 600+ seasonal staff informed with 23 newsletters and 12 COVID updates, saved more than 60 hours of admin work in the first six months, and enabled fully virtual onboarding and timely crisis communications, improving staff engagement and operational responsiveness.
