Case Study: Summit Funding eliminates email overload and centralizes company knowledge with Intranet Connections' Source intranet

A Intranet Connections Case Study

Preview of the Summit Funding Case Study

Summit Funding saw that 80.7% of its 800 plus employees accessed the intranet within the first month

Summit Funding, a full-service mortgage lender with over 800 employees, faced chaotic internal communications: overloaded shared drives, a disappointing free SharePoint rollout, and an everyday deluge of irrelevant emails that frustrated staff and hid important messages. Project lead Angie Yates needed a secure, searchable, branded intranet to centralize documents, reduce email traffic, and improve findability, so she evaluated vendors and selected Intranet Connections’ Source intranet software.

Intranet Connections implemented Source—hosted on Summit’s server—with customization, a theme builder, subscription alerts, widgets and archival controls, plus hands-on support from the CX team to migrate content and train users. The rollout drove measurable impact: $392,503.68 in time-cost savings in the first month, a 30-minute reduction in company communications per person per day, a 55-minute reduction in accessing department resources per person per day, and 80.7% employee adoption within the first month, while improving security, searchability and document manageability.
