Smythe relaunches their corporate intranet

Smythe, a mid‑size CPA firm in British Columbia with three offices and over 230 staff, faced an unengaging corporate intranet that was used mainly for document storage and saw low employee adoption. To address this, Smythe re-engaged their vendor, Intranet Connections, using its intranet software and the Tailored Experience program to rethink internal communications and relaunch the site.

Intranet Connections worked with Smythe through weekly Tailored Experience sessions, moved the site to a Private Cloud, and helped build an interactive, widget-driven intranet while training Smythe staff to create pages and content. The relaunch made the intranet a single source of truth, freed Smythe’s IT team from maintenance, improved accessibility for remote staff, and—consistent with Intranet Connections’ metrics—enabled a much faster launch (on average 75% faster, 12 weeks vs. 52 weeks) and higher engagement across the firm.
