DATEV eG, a major German software and IT service provider, faced the challenge of integrating high-performance German linguistics support into the search functions for its diverse cloud services to help users navigate a flood of financial information. To meet this need, DATEV selected IntraFind and implemented its linguistics plugin for Elasticsearch as a core part of its centralized search service.

The solution from IntraFind utilized lemmatization and compound decomposition to deliver highly comprehensive and relevant German-language search results. This implementation has significantly reduced the workload for support staff by enhancing self-service and currently handles several million searches per week. IntraFind customized its plugin to DATEV's requirements, and the scalable solution is planned for future expansion to support several million users.
