Case Study: CENSIPAM (Brazilian Amazon GIS provider) achieves streamlined collaboration across distributed teams with Intland Software (codeBeamer ALM)

A Intland Software Case Study

CENSIPAM uses codeBeamer ALM to manage the collaboration of its distributed teams

CENSIPAM, a GIS provider supporting government and NGO efforts to conserve the Brazilian Amazon, faced the challenge of coordinating software development across distributed teams spanning four states. They needed an open-source–friendly change-request, tracking and defect-management solution that integrated with their existing Subversion version control and supported a collaborative portal.

After evaluating several tools, CENSIPAM chose codeBeamer (alongside JIRA) for its integration, usability and management features and worked with Intland to implement it and connect to SVN. The result was smoother, more collaborative development across remote teams, improved project management, and stronger support for their Amazon conservation and sustainable development mission.
