76% reduction in time spent building out the schedule.3

Springfield (Springfield-Greene County 911, Missouri) faced time-consuming, error-prone scheduling for rotating dispatchers and call-takers using Excel and paper: supervisors spent dozens of hours building monthly schedules, employees were double-booked or left off rosters, station rotations were uneven, requests got lost, and reporting took hours. They evaluated and selected InTime’s scheduling software for its auto-fill capabilities to handle their complex rotation needs.

InTime responded by developing the Station Block Demand feature to auto-fill required stations with appropriately trained staff and evenly distribute rotations. After returning to InTime, Springfield cut schedule build time from about 32 hours to 7.75 hours (a 76% reduction), eliminated double bookings and late staffing surprises, reduced report lookups from hours to seconds, enabled mobile schedule access and streamlined leave requests — delivering measurable efficiency and fewer errors thanks to InTime.
