Port of Antwerp’s bug bounty program strengthens its world-class security defenses

Port of Antwerp, Europe’s second-largest port and a critical hub for Belgian trade, needed more continuous and scalable security testing after annual penetration tests delivered only a snapshot of its security posture. To address this gap, the Port of Antwerp partnered with Intigriti to launch a responsible disclosure policy and a public bug bounty program on Intigriti’s platform.

Intigriti hosted the bug bounty and provided in-house triage and researcher community access, enabling faster, higher-quality reporting and streamlined remediation through ticketing integration. Within a few months Intigriti’s program generated 135 vulnerability submissions versus only a handful from the parallel pentest, delivering cost-effective increased discovery, quicker fixes, and a scalable model the port plans to expand.
