Kinepolis keeps its systems safe with crowdsourced IT experts

Kinepolis Group, a leading international cinema operator with 111 cinemas and 4,600 employees, needed to increase overall IT security for its web platform and systems. Already using penetration testing, Kinepolis chose to supplement that approach by launching a bug bounty program with Intigriti, using the Intigriti platform to invite crowdsourced security researchers.

Intigriti ran and triaged the bug bounty program, connecting Kinepolis to a community of 90,000+ researchers and filtering validated findings so Kinepolis’ IT team could focus on remediation. The result was continuous, real-world security testing that complemented one-time penetration tests, faster identification and resolution of genuine vulnerabilities, and stronger overall security — Kinepolis reported its internal teams now have sufficient support to perform higher-quality security testing.
