Case Study: DPG Media achieves continuous vulnerability discovery with Intigriti's bug bounty platform

A Intigriti Case Study

Preview of the DPG Media Case Study

DPG Media Uses Bug Bounty Programs as the Final Step in its Security Process

DPG Media, an international digital media network operating some 90 brands and serving millions of users, faced the challenge of defending an enormous attack surface—more than 14,000 customer-facing domains and applications—despite a highly skilled internal security team. To add continuous security testing as the final step in its security process, DPG Media chose Intigriti’s bug bounty platform to tap a global community of ethical hackers and to gain platform support and triage services.

Intigriti implemented public bug bounty programs (and responsible disclosure) across 14 DPG Media brands and provided triage to validate and prioritize reports, delivering immediate, continuous testing that complements periodic pentests. Within one year Intigriti’s programs generated more than 1,900 vulnerability submissions across those brands, surfaced hard-to-find issues, reduced duplicate and invalid reports through triage, and gave DPG Media’s security team measurable time back to focus on remediation.
