Vehicle Service Company engaged Intetics to automate a high volume of vehicle defect reports created by employees across multiple locations. They selected Intetics’ Inspection Form Manager (IFM) mobile app to reduce paperwork, speed defect processing and improve repair planning, but required additional customization and integration with their existing IT systems.
Intetics delivered a tailored IFM deployment—installing the IFM server on the customer’s infrastructure and providing two customized mobile apps with CRM and Active Directory authentication, planning-system integration for automatic defect registration, Google Maps GPS mapping and barcode scanning. The solution automated defect reporting and repair planning, reduced development time and costs for two mobile and one server application, and materially cut reporting time and the number of errors.
