Leading Global Email Marketing Provider faced scaling pain as rapid client growth pushed its reporting stack to the brink—daily report runs risked exceeding 24 hours—and needed real-time audience segmenting plus help handling a rising volume of ad hoc service requests. The provider engaged Intetics to move core Reporting and Data Segmenting functionality onto a Massive Parallel Processing (MPP) platform, and to extend ETL, reporting and SaaS support capabilities.
Intetics implemented an ETL utility and MPP-compatible reporting spoke, rewrote reports for MPP performance, and built a drag-and-drop Data Segmenting layer (with an enhanced SQL generator and ETL integration), while also standing up a services process and custom-reporting capabilities using MS SSRS/SSIS. The result: the Data Segmenting app attracted more than 100 yearly subscriptions, the Reporting product moved out of beta and is sold to end users, the platform supports deployment of ~100 million emails daily, and Intetics remains a continuing development and services partner to the customer.
