Big Data Global Business Intelligence and Technology Consulting Company, a Chicago-area firm focused on building data factories and advanced analytics, needed to rapidly grow its software development capacity and assemble specialists versed in economics, forecasting, inventory management and related business operations. Intetics was engaged to provide its Offshore Dedicated Team® service, addressing both the specialized skillset requirements and challenges of efficient communication between the offshore team, the client’s in-house staff, and end customers.

Intetics established an Agile offshore team in Kharkiv (initially three specialists), supplying infrastructure, recruitment, and management support; automated builds, unit tests and regular web reports; and daily communications and desktop-sharing for tight integration. Under Intetics’ ODT model the team scaled to over 15 members quickly and, by year six, to about 50 professionals (with plans to double in 12–18 months), maintaining 40+ databases (50–200 tables each, hundreds of millions of records) and delivering multiple product releases. Intetics’ solution made the offshore group an integral extension of the client’s staff, reinforcing the company’s delivery capacity and contributing to measurable market-share growth.
