Leading Baer Supply Company, a U.S.-based specialty industrial wholesale distributor for the woodworking industry, needed a standalone ORSY online wholesale store to complement its existing wholesale system. Intetics was engaged to deliver an application that would let customers perform local inventory via barcode scanning while also supporting manual replenishment when users lacked a scanner or hardware failed.

Intetics built the ORSY online wholesale store on J2EE/Struts with an MS SQL backend, providing registration/login, automatic barcode uploads, manual order modification, item search, SAP integration (order/shelf data export, data import, pricing), per-shelf shopping lists, shopping cart and fax/contact features. The ORSY solution integrated with Baer Supply Company’s IT infrastructure and corporate UI, becoming fully compliant with company standards and an essential, multi-location component of the company’s sales system.
