Construction Consultant Reduces Time to Make Investment Decisions With Gis Data Model by Intetics

The European Construction Consulting Company, a major construction consultancy that advises clients on optimal new building locations using satellite imagery, ecological and social data, traffic information and city master plans, faced a time-consuming manual process for long-term residential development scheduling. They engaged Intetics to build an application/GIS solution to automate their comprehensive spatial analysis and align with existing business processes.

Intetics formed a team of GIS developers to design a distributed architecture and virtual city model (integrating GIS tools) that automated multiple analytical departments, unified workflows and forecasted site investment profitability. The Intetics-built GIS solution cut decision-making time from about a week to a couple of days, automated complex analyses, and is now used to support construction investment decisions in Europe’s largest cities.
