UK’s Bookmaker Company, the largest bookmaker in the United Kingdom, was struggling to process 5 million customer orders a day on a legacy system that was slow, hard to scale and difficult to extend. They engaged Intetics to modernize and automate their customer information processing, including migrating the platform to .NET and adding features for automated registrations, ticket scanning/recognition and improved information exchange.

Intetics migrated the system to .NET, built a ticket-reading solution that digitized hand-completed forms into barcodes, automated bet registration and retail–server synchronization, and documented the codebase. The work centralized operations across 3,000 stores, doubled customer query processing speed, effortlessly handled 5 million queries on peak days (including 250,000 bets during the World Cup), and contributed to a 22.9% increase in net revenue.
