Spireon, a North America's leading vehicle-intelligence company, faced significant data challenges due to the immense volume of information generated from millions of connected vehicles. Their outdated manual processes and lack of an ETL tool resulted in reports taking hours to run, hindering their ability to provide real-time insights to customers. To address these scaling issues, Spireon engaged InterWorks for assistance with data architecture and engineering.

InterWorks architected a new data solution leveraging the Snowflake platform, which provided elastic compute scaling and the ability to process data efficiently. This implementation drastically reduced report query times from hours to under 30 seconds. The new architecture saved Spireon hours of scripting, performed much faster, and provided the flexible scalability needed to meet their target of generating customer reports every 15 minutes.
