OnCue, an Oklahoma-based convenience store chain with more than 65 locations, was growing rapidly and outpacing its traditional 3-2-1 IT infrastructure. The company needed a more scalable, easier-to-manage platform that could keep up with expansion while reducing operational burden, and turned to InterWorks for guidance on a new hyperconverged infrastructure approach.

InterWorks helped OnCue evaluate options and implement a Nutanix hyperconverged solution on Dell XC730 hardware with ESXi, delivering the environment with minimal disruption. The new system added storage, improved performance, eliminated latency and database issues, and reduced maintenance through Prism-driven updates and VM orchestration. OnCue also reported less help desk time spent on performance complaints, faster operations overall, and greater flexibility for future growth.
