The Cockrell Eye Center, an optometry practice in Oklahoma, faced the challenge of outgrowing its physical hardware due to technological advances and a loyal patient base. They needed a seamless virtualization solution with absolutely no downtime to support their around-the-clock workload. The vendor, InterWorks, was engaged to provide this IT infrastructure overhaul.

InterWorks implemented a solution that included converting the center's hardware to a virtual environment with centralized storage and converting its wireless network to a Ruckus environment. This utilized Ruckus APs and controllers, VMware, and Dell servers and storage. The result was a more reliable and efficient data environment, increasing the agility of the eye-care provider to better serve its clients.
