Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, a faith-based service organization serving Central and Western Oklahoma, needed to modernize its aging IT environment as it prepared to move into a new building. The organization faced growing demands for scalable infrastructure, better email, stronger communications, and reliable connectivity to support both daily operations and disaster relief efforts. InterWorks was brought in as the local full-stack partner to help plan and execute the upgrade.

InterWorks implemented a broad overhaul that included migrating email to Microsoft Office 365, deploying Ruckus Wireless for improved building-wide and parking lot coverage, virtualizing desktops on Dell PowerEdge VRTX with VMware, and adding a Dell SonicWall firewall and ShoreTel VOIP phones. The new environment improved performance, remote access, and communications across the organization, while also freeing up server resources. InterWorks completed the project 70 hours under the original 500-hour estimate, and Catholic Charities later retained InterWorks for ongoing maintenance and support.
