Carnegie Mellon University trains faculty and staff in a single day with InterWorks

The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University faced the challenge of overhauling its data evaluation process. Their goal was to create a central data warehouse from multiple source systems to provide clear data for the dean and end users. After examining options, they chose to implement a Tableau Software business intelligence solution with the help of the vendor InterWorks.

InterWorks provided onsite consultation, meeting with ten units to discuss goals and develop a strategy. They prototyped customized dashboards and implemented a modified single-day workshop to train faculty and staff. The result was rapid user adoption, with faculty and staff quickly able to create their own reports and execute customized dashboards, streamlining the school's data analysis processes.
