CACI, a provider of data, marketing and IT solutions, needed a secure and scalable way to move Tableau content from development through QA into production for around 30 UK banks and building societies. Working with InterWorks, the team had to manage hundreds of data sources and workbooks while creating customised versions for each client, all with minimal effort and strong control.

InterWorks implemented Power Tools: Deployment to automate workbook and data source promotion, configuration, permissions, extract refreshes, archiving, and rollback, along with a broadcast mechanism for per-client deployment. As a result, CACI achieved a faster development cycle, reduced human error, improved documentation and version control, and greater flexibility and confidence in secure Tableau deployments across its enterprise environment.
