Fresh Express, a leading producer of fresh and ready-to-eat salads, needed a more consistent and auditable way to train employees across multiple sites. Working with Intertek Alchemy, the company sought to replace static, inconsistent PowerPoint-based training and manual record-keeping with a system that could better support food safety, workplace safety, and GFSI/FSSC 22000 requirements.

Intertek Alchemy implemented an integrated training platform with interactive group learning, gamification, and automated documentation, plus custom courses built in Alchemy Creator. The result was improved trainer effectiveness, real-time reporting, and audit-defensible records that helped Fresh Express achieve FSSC 22000 certification; auditors even called the training program a best practice.
