Cleveland Clinic, one of the world’s largest medical group practices and a top‑ranked hospital, faced the challenge of improving the entire patient care experience—from initial access through in‑facility interactions to secure communication between providers and patients after discharge. Their goal was better doctor‑patient communication and higher quality care while supporting large-scale, high‑performance clinical systems across many facilities.

By consolidating administrative and clinical information into a single Caché‑based electronic medical record (EMR) platform, integrated with Epic applications, the Clinic achieved the needed performance, scalability and reliability to support over 8,000 concurrent users. The solution boosted staff productivity, empowered patients with access to their records, and measurably improved provider‑patient communication and overall quality of care.
