SPAR Austria rolls out InterSystems-based ERP to 1,400+ stores

SPAR Austria, a major grocery retailer, faced the challenge of developing an end-to-end enterprise resource planning (ERP) and point-of-sale (POS) system to give local store managers better control over their inventory. They partnered with vendor InterSystems to address this need.

The solution implemented was IMAge, a system built on the InterSystems data platform. This provided a unified, browser-based interface that seamlessly combined local and centralized data, empowering managers with control over inventory and pending deliveries. The result was a highly scalable system that improved operational efficiency and was successfully rolled out to over 1,400 stores.
