Shlomo Group, a leading Israeli vehicle-services company made up of six businesses including Shlomo Sixt and New Kopel Sixt, faced a fragmented IT landscape of separate Oracle back-end systems that prevented a unified customer and partner experience. The challenge was to non‑destructively merge data and transparently aggregate services into a single web interface, and to do so quickly.

They implemented a Service‑Oriented Architecture based on InterSystems Ensemble (delivered by Matrix) to integrate disparate systems, expose services via SOAP/Web services and APIs, and provide a browser-based portal. The solution went live in six months, preserved existing back-end investments, enabled third‑party and international bookings, accelerated new feature rollout, and delivered a unified customer experience that generated incremental business.
