University of Michigan improves statewide roadway monitoring with Intersog using 5-9 person team

The University of Michigan, a top-ranked educational institution, needed a way to help the state's Department of Transportation monitor and improve road conditions. They partnered with Intersog to develop a specialized software solution that could collect and analyze real-time data from a fleet of specially-equipped vehicles.

Intersog developed a mobile and web application that collects data from the vehicles' enhanced anti-lock brake systems, including metrics on speed and movement. The solution features secure, automatic data transfer to a server and offline storage to prevent data gaps. This allows the University's Transportation Research Institute to identify areas requiring maintenance, enabling the Department of Transportation to allocate its resources more effectively.
