Waterstones responds to Covid-19 delivery challenges with Intersoft software

Waterstones needed a fast way to enable ship-from-store during Covid-19, using stock held in temporarily closed shops to meet surging online demand. However, its stores lacked a sufficient delivery-label production system, making the approach difficult to launch. Intersoft rapidly integrated its Intelligent Shipper® API across Waterstones’ nationwide stores, allowing labels to be printed and orders to be despatched from individual shops as well as the central warehouse. The solution was rolled out within days, helping Waterstones respond to lockdown demand, maintain service stability, and ship with confidence across its estate.
