Allport Cargo Services, working with eCommerce client Perfect Moment, needed a better returns experience that would keep shoppers on-brand while also giving the 3PL visibility into why, how and when items were being returned. They turned to their existing partner, Intersoft, which was already supporting outbound shipments through Intelligent Shipper’s multi-carrier label production system.

Intersoft developed a branded Returns Portal that let customers log in, select items to return, and print a returns label with a unique tracking code, all within the Perfect Moment website. The solution improved the customer journey, reduced inbound calls for returns labels and tracking updates, and gave Allport better forecasting and resource planning; Perfect Moment also reported time savings, lower costs, improved customer insight, and a more environmentally friendly process.
