The customer, SFR Geostatistics, faced the challenge of processing an enormous volume of anonymized mobile geolocation data collected across France, which was too large for a single server. They needed a solution with massive storage and computing power to transform this big data into reliable statistical indicators. They partnered with the vendor Intersec to address this.

Intersec implemented its GeoInsights solution, which provided the necessary big data algorithms and cluster management to efficiently process the data. This allowed SFR Geostatistics to reliably calculate a wide array of population behavior indicators on a national scale. The result is a service that provides actors in tourism, transportation, and government with critical insights for making confident strategic decisions about their territories.
