Vendor Intersec partnered with customer Orange to address the challenge of rapidly and accurately locating victims of domestic violence during emergencies under France's Téléphone Grave Danger (TGD) system. The critical need was to provide immediate geolocation to emergency services without the victim having to make a verbal call.

Intersec's platform was integrated directly into Orange's network architecture. This solution instantly provides a victim's precise location the moment an alert button is pressed, forwarding that data in real-time to the relevant police and gendarmerie units for rapid intervention. The measurable impact is clear in the system's growing adoption, with the number of deployed TGD phones increasing from 300 in 2019 to nearly 5,000 in 2024, demonstrating its proven effectiveness in protecting victims and saving lives.
